Frequently Asked Questions

How old does my child have to be?

Your child must already be four years old, or turning four before the end of July in the year they attend. Generally, children only attend our preschool for one year- the year immediately before they commence Kindergarten.


What hours are you open?

Our Preschool is open from 9:00am-3:00pm during school terms.  We are closed on the first day of each term for our educators' professional learning, and the last day of each term for cleaning and maintenance.


What are your fees?

Our daily rate is $15 a day.  However, fee discounts are available for holders of Commonwealth Health Care Cards.


Do you provide food?

No, families must pack a nutritious lunch for their child each day.  We will store your child's lunch in our fridge. Please find more information in our Family Handbook on appropriate foods to pack, as well as brochures in our front entrance.  


How many children attend your preschool?

We are licensed to have a maximum of 40 children in attendance on any one day.  We have two teachers and two Student Learning Support Officers supervising and caring for the children at all times. 


Is your staff qualified?

Yes, our teachers hold an Early Childhood Bachelor of Education and our School Learning Support Officers hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Children's Services
